An awareness programme was conducted on 3rd March 2020 by Rachakonda Commissionerate on ‘She for Her’. This programme was jointly organized by Rachakonda Police Commissionerate and Security Council Members at Guru Nanak Institutions, Ibrahimpatnam.
IAS Smitha Sabarwal and CP Mahesh Bhagawat were the honorary guests who addressed the gathering. Smitha Sabarwal detailed various occurrences that recently happened against girls and appreciated the action taken by the She Team. She also said that it is very important for women to know their rights. CP Mahesh Bhagawat stated that many new She Teams were added to ensure the safety of women and quick response to those in the need of help. The Vice-Chairman of Guru Nanak Institutions appreciated the work of the Police Commissioner, Rachakonda to improve the self-confidence in women.
