Dr. H.S. Saini is the Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak University. He obtained his Ph. D. in Computer Sciences from DAVV University, Indore.
He has profound experience in the academic field spanning over 30 years. He began his career in Computer Applications at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar where he served in that organization for 10 years. He taught courses designed by the University of Westminster and Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is specialized in Fuzzy Systems, AI, Knowledge-Based Systems, and Web Technologies.
Dr. H. S. Saini is the Founder and Chief Editor of four reputed International Journals. He has authored several books and he has organized and Chaired many International Conferences. He has published and presented 54 Innovative Research Papers in International, National Journals and proceedings of International Conferences.
Dr. H. S. Saini has successfully mentored half a dozen start-ups in the region of Telangana. He established Industry-Academia Collaborations, Foreign University Collaborations, and Centres of Excellence in Cutting Edge Technologies.
