Prof. (Dr.) M.A Aariff Khan

Prof. M.A.Aariff Khan, awarded M.Sc. (Ag), Soil Science & Agricultural University from G.B. Pant University Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar U.P and Ph.D. from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University, Rajendranagar Hyderabad, Telangana.

He has more than 35 years of experience in Research, Teaching Extension and administration. His research mainly concentrated in Soil fertility management, problem soil management, Rice, Citrus nutrition, agroforestry systems. Marginal Land development and Argo-biodiversity. He worked indifferent capacities as Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, Professor and Senior Professor in different Agro climate zones of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State.

He published more than 55+ Research Papers in National and International journals in Seminar and Conference Proceedings. He has successfully guided 7 M.Sc (Ag) students in PJTSAU, Hyderabad. He has abroad experience as visiting professor in abroad in Debub University, Ethiopia for 2 years. He has introduced M.Sc. (Ag) Soil Science new curriculum in School of PG Studies in Debub University. Ethiopia.

He has received several prestigious awards and honors from well recognized organizations and societies at State and National level. He has more than 35+ Radio and TV talks, Live interviews and in live programs on different Agricultural Field Crops, Soil Management, Agroforestry Models, Forest plantations in Doordarshan and private TV channels. His contribution in Soil Science aspects, field crops Agroforestry and Extension programs are very useful to farming community.

He has developed DVDs and Digital e-learning methods to outreach farmers. He participated as resource person and subject expert in several webinars and Govt. Institutes, organizations and NABARD.

He attended 40+ several conferences, seminars and workshops at National and International Level. He Published Technical Bulletins, Folders, Book chapters on soil fertility management and Agroforestry and Argo-Biodiversity.
