Centre for Campus Placement and Industrial Relations (CCPI)
For any University, Centre for Campus Placement and Industrial Relations plays a pivotal role in providing the students with the right career entering into a dream profession and high paying job. CCPI places the students of various disciplines into various MNCs at high packages. Students are encouraged to seek the opportunities and enhance their learning experience with practical knowledge. CCPI provides a platform for the students and the companies so that the collaboration is mutually beneficial.
Once a student enters the University, the University takes the entire responsibility to develop that individual. The students are overwhelmed with the opportunities they are provided with. They are left open to a gamut of choices lying in front of them to choose in parallel to their academics. CCPI is involved in enhancing its students through dedicated concentration on each and every student and sees to that everyone enhances their talents with the opportunities they are provided with.
At Guru Nanak University, CCPI is involved in many tasks which involve Profiling of Students, Training, Industrial Visits, Career Counseling, Industrial Liasoning, and Getting MoU signed with Companies and arranging Campus Hiring Events so that all eligible students get best of MNC jobs.
GNU has a full-fledged Centre for Campus Placement and Industrial Relations headed by Director, Training and Placements. It is supported by highly dedicated staff and equipped with modern training facilities and infrastructure.
Student Profiling: Every student admitted to GNU has to create his/her personal profiling through an online tool which makes the student aware of his/her strengths and weaknesses. After students profiling each student gets a mentor allocated to him/her who works closely with the student towards the right career path. Student profiling is done through the support of competent counselors and clinical psychologists.
Training: We at GNU focus on bridging the gap between academia and corporate through rigorous inputs taken from various corporate and clubbing it with the students profile to set the objectives of training for that particular semester. For every semester the student undergoes various modules of training which include behavioral aspects, aptitude, reasoning, and technical components (discipline specific). These modules enable the student to be groomed in such a way that when he/she reaches the final year they are ready made resources to float in the corporate waters. 250+ hours of training is imparted to each student apart from the regular academics.
Apart from these trainings we also arrange training for making students capable of cracking all the leading entrance exams like GRE, GMAT, GPAT, CAT etc.
Career Counseling and Support Services: CCPI organizes career counseling sessions with industry delegates and counselors. These counselors closely work with the students taking in consideration their personal profile and accordingly chart out the plan of action for every student. These counselors help students to choose the right career for them may it be in higher education, job into becoming entrepreneur. Every student is individually helped to make his/her resume, apply for a particular job, and attend workshops/technical seminars through the support services.
