A bachelor’s degree in optometry gives comprehensive training and medical knowledge of the human eye. This course will not only teach the principles of the human eye, but it will also teach how to operate various types of medical equipment that every optometry student and practitioner should be familiar with. General physiology and ocular physiology, hospital procedures, low vision aids, geometrical optics, nutrition, and other courses are covered in the BSc Optometry degree programme. After graduating, students can gain experience in optometric practises, clinical optometry, contact lenses, paediatric optometry, and binocular vision eye illnesses and treatments through hands-on training and regular field visits. Students will learn how to participate in industrial safety programmes and cooperate with road safety organisations, and they will be able to pursue their own profession or serve in government or privately controlled organisations to contribute to society’s welfare.
